Nobody moved. The rooftop remained frozen beneath the glow of the city lights. Every pair of eyes stayed fixed on the diamond necklace resting against the waitress's collar.

Neon lights washed the rooftop in shimmering gold.

Champagne cascaded through crystal towers. Black marble tables reflected the glittering skyline as the city's elite laughed beneath the warm night air.

Everything was flawless.

Until one furious voice shattered the illusion.

"Get her away from me. Now."

A woman dressed in an immaculate white designer suit rose from her chair, fury burning in her eyes. Diamonds flashed at her ears as she pointed at the young waitress standing quietly beside the table.

"Girls like you should learn your place before serving people above your station."

Without another word—

she seized the edge of the champagne table...

and hurled it over.

The towering pyramid of crystal exploded.

Champagne rained across the rooftop.

Hundreds of glasses shattered against the marble floor.

The orchestra stopped mid-note.

Conversations died instantly.

Every guest recoiled.

Only one person remained motionless.

The waitress.

She stood in the middle of the broken glass, her black uniform soaked with champagne.

Not a single step backward.

Not a single word.

Slowly...

she lifted her eyes.

Her calm gaze settled on the furious woman.

Then—

the faintest smile touched her lips.

Cold.

Confident.

Almost... amused.

"Have you really forgotten who I am?"

The woman's face drained of color.

The confidence she'd worn only seconds earlier cracked.

An unbearable silence swallowed the rooftop.

Then came the sound.

Heavy footsteps.

Measured.

Perfectly synchronized.

Every guest turned.

A line of black-suited bodyguards emerged from the private elevator.

One after another.

Without hesitation.

Without speaking.

They crossed the rooftop...

and formed a protective wall—

behind the waitress.

Not behind the wealthy guests.

Behind her.

A ripple of panic swept through the crowd.

The woman instinctively took one step backward.

"No..."

she whispered.

"That's impossible..."

The waitress never looked away.

With slow, effortless grace, she reached for the collar of her plain black uniform.

She pulled the fabric aside.

Hidden beneath it...

rested an extraordinary necklace.

A diamond crown embracing a crystal heart.

Ancient.

Rare.

Impossible to mistake.

The rooftop fell into absolute silence.

Even the sounds of the city seemed to disappear.

The woman's eyes locked onto the necklace.

Her pupils widened.

Her breathing stopped.

Her lips trembled.

"W... where did you get that?"

The waitress didn't answer.

She didn't need to.

She simply stood beneath the neon skyline—

calm.

Untouchable.

Unshaken.

While dozens of elite bodyguards stood silently behind her...

protecting not a waitress—

but the true heiress of a family so powerful that every person on the rooftop suddenly realized they had been looking at the wrong woman all along.

The final expression frozen on the wealthy woman's face wasn't anger anymore.

It was pure terror.
