CHAPTER 8: THE FATHER HIS SON NEEDED

CHAPTER 8: THE FATHER HIS SON NEEDED
Months passed.
The baby grew stronger.
Alexander changed.
The man who once stayed in boardrooms until midnight now left meetings early.
Why?
Because his son had a first smile.
A first laugh.
A first step.
And Alexander wanted to see them.
Emily became part of their lives.
Not as an employee.
Not as a helper.
As family.
But neither of them admitted what they felt.
Until one night...
Alexander said:
"My son stopped crying the day you walked into that room."
Emily smiled.
"He just needed someone to hear him."
May you like
Alexander looked at her.
"So did I."
