CHAPTER 2: THE HOUSE THAT TURNED AGAINST ITSELF

By morning, Carmen’s empire began to fracture.
Bank accounts flagged.
Property transfers frozen.
Board members quietly resigning.
Her family business—built over decades—was suddenly under legal scrutiny from multiple directions.
But Carmen still didn’t understand the scale of what was happening.
Until she arrived at her office and found Alexander waiting inside.
“How dare you break into my company,” she snapped.
Alexander looked at her calmly.
“I didn’t break in,” he said. “I own 41% of your holding group now.”
That sentence hit her like a physical blow.
Impossible.
Her lawyers had always assured her she controlled everything.
But Alexander continued.
“You made one mistake, Carmen. You confused silence with weakness.”
Her voice sharpened.
“This is about a domestic issue—”
“No,” he interrupted.
“This is about assault, coercion, and attempted financial theft.”
A folder landed on her desk.
Photos. Messages. Witness statements.
Even hotel staff testimonies.
Carmen flipped through them rapidly, her composure cracking.
“You think you can destroy me because of one girl—”
Alexander leaned forward slightly.
“She is my daughter.”
A long silence followed.
Then, for the first time, Carmen looked unsettled.
Not angry.
Not confident.
Uncertain.
May you like
Because she finally realized this wasn’t a negotiation.
It was an eradication.
