As police escorted Vanessa away, she laughed hysterically.
"You still don't know the biggest secret."
Everyone stopped.
She looked directly at Nathan.
"You think Richard Cole is your real father?"
Nathan's face went white.
"What are you talking about?"
Vanessa smiled.
"Ask your mother."
Hours later...
Nathan confronted his mother in the hospital chapel.
She finally broke down.
Richard Cole had adopted Nathan as an infant after his biological father died before he was born.
Richard had loved Nathan as his own son.
He had never wanted him to know.
Nathan collapsed into a chair.
Everything he believed about his life had changed in a single day.
When he finally returned to Olivia, she was asleep in the maternity ward after doctors stabilized her pregnancy.
