The same ballroom where Lucas had once thrown divorce papers at her now hosted the annual Business Leadership Awards.

Isabella stood on the stage.
The audience rose in applause.

After the ceremony ended, Isabella walked outside.

Isabella looked toward the skyline.

She slipped her hands into the pockets of her coat and smiled.
