The little girl pointed at the stranger, her hand trembling.
"He doesn't go away," she cried. "He's always here whenever you leave on a business trip, Daddy."
The father froze.
He stared at the man hiding inside his own house.
Then he turned to his wife.
She slowly looked back at the stranger.
No one said a single word.
No one dared to move.
The color drained from the woman's face.
Meanwhile, the stranger remained perfectly still, trapped beneath the homeowner's unblinking stare.
