Anna finally revealed why she had risked her own life.
She wasn't simply a housemaid.
Before taking the job, she had spent six years working as a laboratory assistant for a pharmaceutical company.
While cleaning the kitchen, she noticed Victor secretly emptying a vial into the bottle after Margaret had walked away.
The warning label flashed before her eyes.
Potassium cyanide.
Anna ran through the mansion searching for Emily.
She arrived only seconds before the baby drank the milk.
"I didn't have time to explain."
Emily looked at the bruise already forming on Anna's cheek.
"I'm so sorry."
Anna smiled weakly.
