Vargas’s flashlight beam swept inches from Mariana’s face. Just as he turned toward the main terminal, Julian’s voice cracked in her ear. "Payload delivered. Execution in three, two, one."

Downstairs in the grand ballroom, the string quartet suddenly stopped playing as the massive digital screens lining the walls flickered and died. The room plunged into confusion. Then, the screens roared back to life, but they weren't showing the charity foundation’s logo.

It was the yacht footage. Crystal clear.

The entire ballroom fell into a stunned, horrified silence as they watched the beloved patriarch and his wife brutally force their daughter and grandson off the boat. The silence was shattered by gasps and screams. But Mariana wasn't finished.

Upstairs, Vargas stared at his phone as it exploded with emergency alerts. Taking advantage of his shock, Mariana slipped past him, bolting for the emergency stairwell. She had lit the match; now it was time to watch the empire burn.
