Within ten minutes, the suite was cleared except for essential staff.
A monitor rolled in.
The footage began.
Khloe standing still. Isabella stepping forward. The shove. The table. The glass exploding. The kick.
No sound was needed. The truth was unbearable in silence.
Marcus’s face went pale.
“No…” he whispered. “That’s not—Isabella, tell me that’s not—”
But Isabella wasn’t looking at him anymore.
She was watching the screen like it was a death sentence.
Dr. Vale turned it off.
“No interpretations needed,” he said coldly. “We have attempted assault on a pregnant woman inside a medical facility. Security is already preparing a report.”
Isabella finally snapped.
“She ruined everything!” she shouted. “I was supposed to be the one he chose! She was temporary!”
Marcus flinched like he’d been struck.
Khloe, still on the bed now as doctors checked her vitals, closed her eyes.
