The hotel's legal director hurried into the lobby after hearing the commotion.
"What happened?"
Nobody answered.
Instead, Mr. Walter handed him the hospital wristband.
The lawyer examined it carefully.
His expression slowly changed.
"This... can't be possible."
Victoria stepped forward.
"Enough! This is private."
"No," the lawyer replied.
"It stopped being private the moment you dragged a child across your hotel floor."
He turned toward the guests.
"Emily Hale was Ms. Victoria Hale's younger sister."
Gasps filled the lobby.
"She disappeared eight years ago."
Victoria interrupted.
"She died."
The little girl finally spoke.
"My mom didn't die."
Silence.
"She told me everyone believed she was dead because someone wanted the Hale fortune all to herself."
Victoria's breathing became uneven.
The child continued.
"My mom said you took something much more valuable than money."
"What are you talking about?"
"My life."
The words froze every person in the lobby.
"My mother said I was born with the Hale name..."
"...but someone erased it."
The lawyer looked back at Victoria.
His voice dropped.
"Is this why you sealed the hospital records?"
