Miles away, in a non-descript van parked in an underground garage, Maya wiped the last remnants of makeup from her face. The frightened, clumsy twenty-year-old was gone. Her posture was straight, her eyes sharp and focused.

She plugged a secure hard drive into a massive console humming with servers. Beside her, a man with a scarred face monitored a dozen screens showing the chaotic interior of the Blake Tower.

Maya stared at the screen showing Regina’s ruined gown. The snag wasn't an accident. The power cable had been planted, the tear perfectly calculated to ensure Regina grabbed the fabric—and the microscopic scanner woven into the hem.

"She thinks she's untouchable," Maya said quietly, her voice laced with a coldness that rivaled Regina's. "My mother died in one of her undocumented factories in Dhaka. Tonight, we don't just ruin her reputation. We take her empire."

"Upload is at 60%," the man confirmed. "We have the files. But she's on the move."
