Jasper’s high-priced lawyers dropped him the moment his retainers bounced. He was forced to use a public defender who looked like he hadn't slept in a decade.
In the courtroom, Jasper sat alone. His mother and sister weren't there; they were busy dealing with their own probation hearings.
