Snow covered the ground.
Hannah carried Lily.
Emma held her hand.
Ethan stayed behind them.
Victor's vehicles approached from the road.
Daniel pointed toward the forest.
“Keep moving.”
They ran.
Branches scratched against their coats.
Lily began crying.
Hannah whispered.
“Don't look back.”
A flashlight moved between the trees.
Victor's men were searching.
Claire suddenly noticed an old cabin.
“Over there.”
They entered.
Daniel locked the door.
Everyone remained silent.
Footsteps passed outside.
Lily covered her mouth.
Emma hugged her.
After several minutes, the footsteps disappeared.
Ethan looked at Daniel.
“How long have you been hiding?”
“Six years.”
“Why didn't you contact me?”
“Because every attempt put you in danger.”
Ethan's voice broke.
“You could have trusted me.”
Daniel nodded.
“I should have.”
Suddenly a phone vibrated.
Everyone froze.
It was Claire's phone.
She answered.
A distorted voice spoke.
“Victor has your mother.”
Ethan's heart stopped.
“Where?”
“Come to the Reed Foundation.”
The call ended.
Daniel shook his head.
“It is a trap.”
Ethan knew it.
“But Margaret is there.”
Emma looked at him.
“We go together.”
They drove back toward the city.
The foundation building was dark.
The doors were unlocked.
Inside, they found Margaret tied to a chair.
Ethan rushed toward her.
She whispered.
“Don't.”
A red light appeared above them.
A camera.
Victor's voice filled the room.
“You finally brought everyone.”
Daniel looked toward the camera.
“Show yourself.”
Victor laughed.
“Not yet.”
The doors locked.
Smoke began filling the hallway.
Hannah grabbed Lily.
Ethan searched for an exit.
Daniel found a hidden door.
They escaped moments before the room filled with smoke.
But Margaret was still trapped inside.
Ethan tried to return.
Daniel stopped him.
“We have seconds.”
Then the building alarm sounded.
The doors opened.
Margaret stumbled out.
Alive.
But she was holding something.
A flash drive.
