Ethan looked at Daniel.
“Is that true?”
Daniel nodded.
“I was trying to buy it back.”
Victor smiled.
“You have forty-eight hours.”
“What happens then?”
“I take everything.”
Ethan asked.
“And if we refuse?”
Victor looked toward the twins.
“Then the trust disappears.”
The video ended.
The investigator explained that Victor had hidden the controlling documents somewhere.
They searched every property.
Nothing.
Then Mia remembered something.
She had been given a necklace by her adoptive father.
Inside it was a tiny key.
The key matched a safe in Daniel's office.
They opened it.
Inside was the original controlling agreement.
Victor's signature was forged.
Daniel had proof.
Victor had never owned the company.
He had only made everyone believe he did.
Ethan smiled.
“He's finished.”
But the investigator shook his head.
“There is one problem.”
The document was unsigned by a witness.
Without that witness, Victor could still challenge it.
