Chapter 18 - The Final Scan

A few months later, Sarah returned for a routine check-up.
Walking into the hospital felt strange, like visiting a distant memory.
She was no longer a patient; she was a survivor.
She greeted the nurses, who were thrilled to see her looking so healthy.
Her hair had grown into a stylish, short pixie cut.
Her cheeks were rosy, and her eyes sparkled with life.
Dr. Evans reviewed her blood work and the latest scan.
"Everything is perfectly clear," he confirmed with a warm smile.
"You are doing exceptionally well, Sarah," he added.
She thanked him, feeling a deep sense of relief.
The fear of relapse would always linger in the back of her mind.
But the clean scan gave her the confidence to keep moving forward.
She walked out of the clinic hand in hand with David.
They didn't rush out this time; they walked with calm assurance.
