Chapter 2: The Sanctuary
The East Wing was forbidden territory for the staff. It was Ronan’s private sanctuary.
Seraphina sat on the edge of a California king bed, clutching a silk blanket. For the first time in three years, she didn't check the locks on the door. She knew the most dangerous man in the city was sleeping just down the hall, and ironically, it was the safest she had ever felt.
The next morning, she walked downstairs expecting to don her uniform. Instead, a wardrobe of elegant, understated clothes was waiting in her closet.
