Chapter 15 - THE PERFECT SYMPHONY

The private gardens of the Caldwell estate were transformed into an absolute paradise of white roses and delicate fairy lights.

It was a small, incredibly intimate ceremony, attended only by close friends, trusted staff members, and a few chosen family members.

There were no massive crowds, no intrusive paparazzi, and absolutely no arrogant socialites invited.

Ethan stood at the end of the flower-lined aisle, his heart hammering in his chest with pure, unadulterated anticipation.

The string quartet sitting near the fountain began to play a soft, beautiful melody that drifted lazily through the warm afternoon air.

Suddenly, a tiny figure burst through the wooden doors of the patio, giggling uncontrollably.

Lily, wearing a miniature white tulle dress and a tiny flower crown, ran aggressively down the aisle.

Instead of dropping the flower petals politely, she was violently throwing them into the air like chaotic confetti.

The small crowd laughed warmly as she sprinted directly into Ethan’s waiting arms, practically tackling his legs.

"I threw the flowers, Daddy!" Lily announced proudly, beaming up at him.

"You did a perfect job, my little butterfly," Ethan smiled, kissing the top of her dark curls.

Then, the music shifted, and the entire world simply stopped spinning for Ethan Caldwell.

Rosa stepped out onto the patio, looking like an actual angel descended directly from heaven.

She wore a simple, elegant white silk gown that flowed like water over her beautiful curves, and her dark hair was pinned up with delicate pearls.

As she walked slowly down the aisle, her dark eyes never once left Ethan’s face.

She remembered the terrified girl she used to be, hiding in the shadows of this very mansion, praying to go unnoticed.

Now, she was walking proudly into the sunlight, claiming the brilliant, fiercely protective man who had chosen her above everything else in the world.

When she finally reached the altar, Ethan gently took both of her hands in his, his thumbs softly stroking her knuckles.

"You are my absolute everything," Ethan whispered, loud enough for only her to hear.

"And you are my safe harbor," Rosa replied, a brilliant, radiant smile lighting up her entire face.

They exchanged their solemn, tearful vows under the golden afternoon sun, promising to protect, cherish, and love each other through all the storms of life.

When the officiant finally pronounced them husband and wife, Ethan did not hesitate for a single fraction of a second.

He pulled his beautiful wife into a deeply breathtaking kiss, while Lily cheered loudly from her seat in the front row.

Later that evening, long after the guests had gone home, the newly formed family found themselves exactly where they belonged.

Ethan sat on the velvet bench of the grand piano in the east parlor, with Lily sitting securely on his lap, smashing the white ivory keys with joyful enthusiasm.

Rosa leaned softly against his strong shoulder, watching their beautiful daughter laugh as the chaotic notes filled the air.

May you like

It was definitely not a perfect, classical symphony.

But to Ethan Caldwell, the billionaire who finally had everything money could never buy, it was the most beautiful music he had ever heard.
