The courtroom held its breath as Judge Harrison delivered the sentences.
“Nolan Price, for your role in orchestrating this massive financial fraud and betraying your fiduciary duties, I sentence you to fifteen years in federal prison, without the possibility of parole, and order full restitution.”

“Camille Lang,” the judge continued, his tone turning glacial. “Your willing participation in the slow, deliberate psychological and physical abuse of an elderly woman, purely for financial gain, shows a profound lack of humanity. I sentence you to eighteen years in federal prison.”
A sharp gasp escaped Camille’s lips. She looked back at Owen, a desperate, silent plea in her eyes. But Owen merely turned away, helping his mother to her feet. The chapter was finally closed.
