Chapter 15: The Final Battle For Carver International

Chapter 15: The Final Battle For Carver International

The emergency meeting happened within minutes.

Carver International’s entire leadership team gathered through secure video calls.

The situation was worse than anyone expected.

Victor had spent years preparing.

Hidden accounts.

Secret ownership transfers.

Private agreements.

Everything designed to take control.

Michael placed the information on screen.

“He’s attempting to activate a dormant ownership clause.”

Alexander frowned.

“That clause was removed decades ago.”

Michael shook his head.

“Not completely.”

Everyone looked at him.

“Your father never destroyed it.”

Alexander looked shocked.

“Why?”

Michael hesitated.

“Because he was afraid someone would use it.”

Hannah looked at the documents.

“The same way they used my father.”

Michael nodded.

Exactly.

Victor’s plan was simple.

Use old legal agreements to create chaos.

Then take control while everyone was distracted.

But he made one mistake.

He underestimated Hannah.

She looked at the financial records.

Then at the ownership documents.

Something caught her attention.

“Wait.”

Everyone turned.

“This clause has a condition.”

Michael checked.

“What condition?”

Hannah pointed.

“The original creators must approve any transfer.”

Alexander looked confused.

“Creators?”

She nodded.

“My father and yours.”

Silence.

“They created the company together.”

Michael’s eyes widened.

“Then Victor cannot legally claim ownership.”

Hannah continued.

“But there is a problem.”

“What?”

“My father is gone.”

Alexander looked at her.

“And my father is gone too.”

A quiet moment passed.

Then Hannah remembered something.

The letter.

Her father’s letter.

The one hidden inside the music box.

She quickly opened it.

Near the bottom was a sentence she had ignored.

The truth does not disappear when people do.

Below it was a signature.

Not her father’s.

Someone else’s.

Hannah froze.

“Alexander…”

He looked.

The signature belonged to:

Thomas Carver.

Alexander’s grandfather.

Michael immediately searched records.

Then stopped.

“Impossible.”

“What?”

“The original agreement was never destroyed.”

Hannah looked at him.

“Where is it?”

Michael whispered:

“Stored in the Carver family vault.”

Alexander understood.

The final proof.

The document Victor needed destroyed.

The one thing that could stop him.

But before they could leave…

The mansion security system sent an alert.

Someone had entered the vault.

Alexander looked at the screen.

His face changed.

“Victor.”

Hannah grabbed his hand.

“Then we go together.”

Alexander looked at her.

“You don’t have to.”

She smiled.

“Yes.”

A pause.

“I do.”

Because this was no longer about revenge.

It was about finally ending the lie.
