Jax stepped forward and tossed a heavy black tablet onto the desk. The screen displayed the decrypted banking records and murder contracts. The old man lost his arrogant smile as he read the glowing screen. His entire legacy of corruption was documented perfectly in those files. Sarah explained that the data had already been sent to the FBI. Federal agents were currently en route to the estate this very minute. His offshore accounts had been completely frozen by government authorities. His loyal politicians could no longer protect him from the incoming fallout. He was going to spend the rest of his pathetic life inside a cage. The old man trembled with sudden rage and reached for a hidden weapon. Sarah reacted instantly and shot him squarely in his right shoulder. He screamed in pain and collapsed backward into his leather chair. The empire he had built on fear and blood was finally broken. Sirens began to wail in the far distance cutting through the night. The cavalry was arriving to clean up the terrible mess.
