Chapter 6 - The Security Breach
The crew stairwell was strictly off limits to regular passengers. Sarah picked the simple mechanical lock with a hairpin. She slipped inside and descended into the belly of the massive ship. The air grew warmer and smelled strongly of diesel fuel. She needed to find the central security hub to track her enemies. Two maintenance workers passed by but ignored her entirely. She found the security room hidden behind an unmarked metal door. A single guard was sitting in a chair watching the monitor screens. He was wearing a dark suit that matched the first mercenary. Sarah opened the door swiftly and aimed her pistol at him. She ordered him to step away from the control console immediately. He raised his hands and backed away from the glowing screens. She forced him to the ground and tied him with computer cables. Now she had full access to the surveillance network of the vessel. She scanned the screens and located the remaining two mercenaries. They were searching the dining hall for her and Mark.
